What is FlexiHemp?
This unique pelletised formula includes Hemp Hulls and Hearts, MSM and Turmeric. FlexiHemp contains the hulls, and hemp seed which provides hemp oil, fibre, amino acids, and essential fatty acids. The benefits include joint
support, skin support, muscle recovery and supporting the inflammation response.

- Piperine, in black pepper blocks curcumin excretion by the liver and may support normal curcumin bioavailability.
FlexiHemp is suitable for all horses, especially older horses, horses in work or in recovery. It is low in sugar and starch therefore safe for use for equines with metabolic conditions, grain intolerances, or for high fibre/low NSC diets.
About The Ingredients
Hemp Hulls and Hearts are an excellent source of-quality protein (20%) which supports muscle function, and other important body functions. It also contains a superior amino acid profile with 9 essential amino acids required for protein production. Essential amino acids are not made by horses but are vital for their health especially for the building, fuelling, recovery of muscles after exercise, and building topline.
Hemp Hulls and Hearts contain 10% to 20% oil, mostly in the form of essential fatty acids which support joint and immune system function.
Hemp Hulls and Hearts are low in sugar and starch with useful levels of digestible fibre (approx. 30%), favourable for a high fibre, low sugar and starch diets. It can safely be fed to all horses including those with grain intolerances or metabolic issues.
Hemp Hulls and Hearts also contain antioxidants in the form of Vitamin E plus magnesium, zinc, phosphorus, and calcium. They are Australian grown and processed and GMO free.
MSM (Methylsulphonylmethane) is a natural form of sulfur that supports normal inflammation, connective tissue, cartilage, bones, and hooves. It is an important addition to any horse’s diet. MSM also supports normal skin and coat due to its role in keratin formation.
MSM is suitable for horses in heavy work, are older, have arthritis or have poor hoof condition.
Turmeric Alleppey and Black Pepper Curcuma longa (Alleppey), is a traditional type of turmeric commonly used in cooking, foodstuffs, cosmetics, and medicine. It may support normal inflammation and skin conditions.
It is suggested that curcumin is treated as a foreign substance by the liver, therefore rapidly metabolised and excreted. Piperine in black pepper iis reported to block curcumin excretion by the liver support normal increasing curcumin bioavailability.
